Account Data Export: File Format
This page describes the file you receive with Settings › General › Account › Export data in the Mailistix app, or from us on request when you cannot sign in (Terms of Service, Section 15.10). It is the description of data structures and formats required by Article 26(b) of the EU Data Act and helps you use the data under Article 20 GDPR. We keep this page up to date when the export changes.
1. What the file contains
The export contains the data our servers keep for your Account. It does not contain your emails, attachments, contacts or calendar: they stay with your mailbox provider (Google or Microsoft), and the app's local copy stays on your computer. Data stored only on your computer (for example projects, tasks, documents, notes and Ask AI conversations) is not part of it.
2. Format
- One JSON document (RFC 8259), UTF-8 encoded.
- Times are strings in ISO 8601 format with time zone (UTC), for example
2026-10-20T11:20:00.000Z; dates without time useYYYY-MM-DD. - Identifiers (user id, record ids) are UUID strings; Polar and Microsoft identifiers are strings as issued by them.
- Numbers are JSON numbers; Credits and token counts are integers or decimals as stored; empty values are
null.

5. What is left out, and how to get it
The file lists in omitted what it leaves out and why: internal markers and pricing details, hashes and storage locations, notes and identities of our team members, the raw content of Polar's notifications and the content of support uploads. On request we provide, in a machine-readable format and within 30 days, the content of your support uploads, the Polar notifications about your purchases, your interface language and sign-in history, and any field the file leaves out that relates to you (Terms of Service, Section 15.10(b)). Write to legal@mailistix.com from the email address of your Account.
